Ride On!

A few days ago, some people from Ride On came to our school to teach us all the important things we all have to know about riding our bikes and keeping us safe. We all went into different groups with different classmates.

The first thing we all did was a helmet check. We put two fingers below our helmet, two fingers between our helmet straps and our cheek and two fingers between our chin. We had to make sure our helmets fit perfectly or else they'll be too tight or loose.

Secondly, we checked our bikes to see if we had flat tires or any unusual things. Then we did the 'M' check. The 'M' check was also to see if we had any unusual things or any flat tires.

The next thing we did was L.S.M. It stands for Look, Signal, Move. It is when you look behind you (just in case), you signal for the cars behind you and then you move.

Soon after, we learnt how to stop safely when there is something in front of our bikes and we are about to run over them. Room 3 enjoyed it so much! We really wish that they would come back again!
